The Sudoku Fighter ladder contains ten computer opponents, each faster than the one before. Begin with a leisurely easy puzzle, beat the fighter on your current rung, and work toward the hard and expert opponents at the top.
Every ladder fight is a straight race on identical puzzles: complete the grid before the computer to advance. Guest progress stays on this device, while an account keeps your ladder level available wherever you sign in.
The early rungs use easy puzzles and forgiving solve times. Medium, hard, and expert grids appear as you advance toward the Editor-in-Chief. Completed rungs remain open for rematches, giving you a consistent way to practise faster solving before the next challenge. Each opponent has a named newspaper character and a fixed pace, making improvement visible from one rung to the next.
